Summer Intern 2019 - Web Development Research

The mission of the ERCOT Summer Internship Program is to partner with students pursuing academic excellence to create opportunities that stretch learning experiences into a work environment with intellectually challenging projects and assignments. These opportunities will promote utility industry awareness, growth, and identification of top talent for future employment. The summer internship is not to exceed 40 hours a week. Under general supervision, support the Digital Content Management group and Lead Information Strategist with Enterprise Content Management Program initiatives. Essential Job Duties Research best practices for initiatives such as: Developer Portal Change Management Search Optimization Content Modeling Taxonomy Implementation Intranet Documentation of business processes Assist ERCOT web team with managing and publishing ERCOT.com content Assist in application testing Help with logistics such as scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, etc. Job Competencies Collaboration Customer Focus Functional/Technical Skills Communication: Oral and Written Education Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor?s or graduate-level degree in Web Programming, Research skills, or Technical Writing. Work Experience Preferred Experience using a Content Management System. Demonstrate ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision in a team environment. Strong organization skills with emphasis on being conscientious and detail-oriented. Familiarity with standards and best practices in Web development, information architecture, typography and user experience design. Good knowledge of HTML skills desired. Proficient in creating and edit images using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Fireworks. Experience creating low fidelity wireframes desired. Preferred work schedule of the intern: 40 hours a week / Monday ? Friday 8AM - 5PM Must be available to work onsite ? Interns will not be eligible for remote work. May 28, 2019 ? August 9, 2019 Our summer internship program is a paid learning experience targeting primarily for students who have a GPA of 3.0 or better and who have at least completed their sophomore year. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
