Job - Windows Engineer - 1-year contract
This position provides expert level technical leadership for an enterprise Windows environment, to include Exchange and all supporting tools. The Senior Windows Administrator will perform all aspects of environment administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, security, process improvement and other administrative tasks. Documentation of procedures and development of repeatable best practices
Duties
Helps to develop and implement technical roadmap for Windows environment.
Works with technical architecture teams and business teams to develop solutions to complex problems.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory. Includes Group Policy and Powershell scripting.
High-level experience with Microsoft DFS and DFS-R. Ability to handle cross-site replication issues and troubleshoot replication errors.
PowerShell scripting for application deployments and health monitoring of Windows systems.
Manage and maintain highly available Exchange 2010 environment.
Manage and maintain VMware vSphere 5.5 environment.
Accurately diagnose resource constraint issues with all systems.
Participate in rotating on-call duty to provide 24x7 support for critical systems.
Diligently work to provide Project Management teams
Act as mentor to less experienced Windows administrators.

5-7 years of Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2008 R2
